Massachusetts DCR (state beaches): dogs on beaches
Massachusetts coast, Massachusetts
No dogs on any DCR (state) ocean beach from April 1 to September 15, except service animals. DCR's beach pages give April 1; the state regulation (302 CMR 12) says May 1 "unless otherwise posted". We show the longer April 1 date. Shorebird nesting areas can close for longer.
