Bridger-Teton National Forest: the rule in full

The Forest Service suggests the Cache Creek area as a place to take your dog for a run. Dogs must be leashed at busy developed trailheads, including Cache Creek. From December 1 to May 1 a forest order requires a 6-foot leash on listed trails nearby (parts of Putt Putt, Woods Canyon, Crystal Butte and Game Creek) to protect wintering wildlife. Unlike Grand Teton and Yellowstone, national forest trails generally allow dogs.
